Great Work!
Love, love, love the voice. Great song, I want to hear more
great song, terrific voice….congratulations!
great stuff! more more more!
Great tune, intriguing lyrics. Keep them coming!
Nice tune. I smiled when I read in your notes that the lyrics go back to 1989 — my first sense when I heard the chorus was that it had a touch of that ’80s sound to it. Reminded me of Melody by Boys Brigade (a fav tune back in the day) – maybe a Toronto influence from the era?
Love the raspy Bowie flavoured voice.
love the bells– nice contrast with the throaty vocals…
Very catchy melody with great lyrics – lots of character in his voice! Loved it!

Well done!
Great song! Great hook… I’ve had it in my head all morning… love it!
Great tune. Loved the melody and the voice. Excellent.
Love the lyrics, tune and vocals. Love that it has a story, not just words. Can’t wait to hear more from this band.
Great sound! Would love to hear more!
This is such a wonderful song! Great lyrics, great voice. Really stays with me! Thank you for sharing it.
Great song – keep up the good work!
Nice tune!
Great work, I will be sure to forward the link along. Keep it up.
Great Tune. Nice keyboard intro. I like it more and more each time I hear it.
Tried to respond with a thanks and “go right ahead” a couple of times via iPhone but it didn’t seem to work…so excuse me if this seems like spam and you did already hear from us.
As for new stuff? 2 other songs (one brand new called Cup of Coffee, well new version anyway) on the http://www.virb.com/truthpanel site…..and really….burn-age for the car? Toitally cool, particularly if you have a full load of passengers from time to time and do the “band ambassador thing….we’ll be up on iTunes soon enough..then we would be very pleased of the 99 cents…until then? Burners are just truth panel evangelists!
Very 80s. Keep making more music!
Great song Bill! Great voice, love the tune, the occasion and subject which inspired you to create it.
It’s winner! Bet you we will be hearing this on the radio soon. Would love to hear more.

Like the vocal quality.
Nicely done. Good vocals, fine production and a mellow line.
Luvin it! Great work Bill!
Good job, guys!
Great songwriting lives on! Great tune and a great back story about the origins of the lyrics. Let’s hear more!
Love the ‘nursery-like’ beginning & ending; sets a nice tone for the song, which is full of feeling & compassion. Great vox!!! Paints an interesting picture as one listens..Great job, Bill & boys!
Love the song, really well done and put together, I definitely want to hear more!
song was stuck in my head for hours after the first listen. Cool ’80’s vibe which has made it very 2009! I’m back in skinny pants and neon.
Great song Bill! Looking forward to more!
Loved it! Great song and great talent!
Tight band, great voice, well produced and mixed. Like the back story and the late night bar vibe.
What a refreshing re-invention of a musical style long forgotten. Love the character of the singer’s voice that captures the magic in what is easily overlooked, except by the finely honed skill of simple observation. Kudos!
Awesome! This is a fantastic song, Bill. Sounds like Tom Waits (if he were in an upbeat mood)
Can’t get the melody out of my head now.
Love the story that goes behind the song too. Something real.
Sorry, guys, just had to burn it so I can play it in the car.
When do we get the next instalment?
Totally honoured that you wanted a copy actually. You can find two other truth panel tunes on-line at http://www.virb.com/truthpanel, another Nygren penned tune called “cup of coffee” and a blistering rocket called “world so big” that is a Sten composition.
We’ll put them up on music xray as well.
Thanks!

Honoured! Burn away and pass the word….new song posted last night to our site at http://www.virb.com/truthpanel
To the contrary….don’t mind at all and quite honoured….new tunes up on virb.com/truthpanel
Great job! I like how real this song is.
Hey good stuff…keep up the good work!
You are spot on with that observation…I was a huge Boys Brigade fan, primarily because of the song Melody and partially because Geddy Lee produced it.
Have a tune called Violetta that we play live and will be recording soon that is specifically inspired by “Melody” by the way…look for it on our virb site in the months ahead.
Thanks Bill,
Long road from the basement at NJC torturing the lunch time meanderers with my then ham handed guitar playing!
Thanks, Jim.
You get it. I knew you would! Thanks for the great comments!!
